Trains

I eventually got permission from Stephanie to look at trains again and build a layout  a few years ago.  Did have some help from the Grandchildren who are all train mad.  

This is largely thanks to Thomas the Tank Engine on TV

For those that know it’s a tail chaser in our loft 18’x10’ and is a Midland / Eastern region one set around 1964-5 so there is Steam and Diesel with a mixture of LMS and some LNER loco’s similar to the Leicester & North Derbyshire area around that time

And the fact we have the last operational Roundhouse as a living working place just up the road helps too

Not only do I have Barrow Hill Engine Shed close by I also have the Midland Railway Centre  AND Peak Rail all within a 10 mile radius of me
